Alright, I'm back!

So, yesterday, I finished my final exam of the year and now the only thing I have left to do on an academic note is wait for the results so I can figure out how many exams I didn't pass and will have to do again. But that's at least two weeks from now, so I've decided I'm not going to think about it.

Anyway, I'm going to start catching up on livejournal today, which includes posting my story and reading the stuff that's been posted while I've been gone. About the story I was posting while I dissappeared, the next chapter (5) will be posted today, after some slight revising, so I hope you guys like it.

I do have to post a warning that I'll be gone for 1st - 7th of July because I'm going away with Comac for on a camping trip, which will be awesome. :p

Hello everyone,

I know I haven't been around Livejournal lately and I'm here to kinda tell you that it's not going to change any time soon. With my work for Uni and Comac being the way it is, I just don't have the time for much else. I'm noticing that I'm neglecting some of my reading for Uni in favour of reading fics and writing fic and that's just... not good. So, I'm cutting back ont he remaining time I'm using on fanfiction. I'm really sorry, but... yeah.

So, I'm warning you that it might be a long, long, long time before I'm back full time. I'm going to work out a Livejournal system for next year during the summer months, but for now I just don't have the time to work out anything. So, I'll see you when I see as soon as possible!

Hey!

As some of you probably know, I missed my weekly (weendendly?) catch up on livejournaly and I missed my posting day - Saturday. I didn't post the next chapter and I didn't catch up on all the reading I normally do on Saturady (or friday) but there were certain problems (and Uni work) I had to deal with, so I didn't have the time to post or to catch up on my reading. I will, hopefully, catch up on everything this coming weekend. But I have to warn you, that with all my upcoming schoolwork, I might not have the time.
Exams are two months away, and while that may sound like a long time, it really isn't. I have to start preparing next to all my other Uni work (like writing papers, making sure I've done all of my reading, keeping my notes in order, etc.) so I might not have the time to post anything.

On the other hand, life is sort of okay right now. Busy, busy, busy, but I love Uni, it's so awesome, even with all the pressure, even with all the work, I love it. So that's a good thing. :D

Anyways, I apologize to everyone who was expecting an update this week, but there were circumstances beyond my control :D

So, Mexicano and I went to the cinema today. We saw Watchmen, it was awesome :D I really loved the movie, it was just awesomely done. I could go into more detail, but it's still kinda settling because I've only been home for about twenty minutes (after seeing the movie). Anyway, it was really cool and there weren't many people at the theatre, which is a good thing because I'm sure that other people would have appreciated Mexicano and I going...

Mexicano: "Sublight Engines."
Me: "What?"
Mexicano: "The Asgard."
Me: "Oh yeah."

Or...

Me: "Hey! That guy in the middle plays the Russian Colonel what's his face who liasons with Stargate Command from season 6 until season 8 or something."
Mexicano: "Oh yeah."

That's us... basically... it's not a direct quote of course, but it comes close.... XD It was fun ^^

EDIT: I tried to remember how long I've been writing fanfiction this afternoon and I couldn't remember. So I decided to check the date on which I joined ff.net (The Pit) which is the same day on which I wrote my first fanfic and I'd already been reading for about a year since then. So... *drum rolls*
Last Friday, the 20th of March I had been writing fanfiction for exactly 4 years! Teehee! ^^

Hello! Another message to let everyone know that I'm not dead. I know that in my previous post I promised to remain up to date with Livejournal. Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have cram every LJ thing into the weekend, otherwise it'll never get done. I'm even lucky I had some time yesterday evening and this morning (and between breaks) to catch up because otherwise I've been studying all day for an exam on Tuesday. I hate it when I have exams outside of the examperiod. *sigh*

Now, some things I would like to share with you...

1. I have this habit of reading all different sorts of fics at the same time. Ficlets or short chapters I read and finish. But when I'm reading a really, really long one-shot or a multi-chaptered story that I have to read from start to finish, I have this habit of reading other sorts of fandoms at the same time, I don't know why. But it does allow me to make some lovely crossover combinations that I like to toy with. Also, while I'm doing this I usually play a lot of music in the background, all kinds of music. Could be modern pop, rap, some dance music I heard in a movie, whatever. And sometimes it's musicals... Like Legally Blond the Musical and reading Sharpe at the same time.

NOT GOOD!

Because you know what I'm thinking now?

Emmet = Wellington
--> Especially during songs like "So Much Better", "Legally Blond" and "Chip on my Shoulder". When I listen to "Oh My God You Guy" of course the Delta U are the Chosen Men.

I deserve to get shot, SERIOUSLY, WHY DOES MY BRAIN DO THIS TO ME?

2. Stargate Atlantis IS SO MUCH LOVE! Seriously, I've finished watching the first season (I need nice memories to sustain me while I'm studying for my exam) and OH MY GOD! Everyone who's been subtly pointing me in the SGA direction I LOVE YOU! That's mostly rane_ab and .... Mexicano (His name isn't Mexicano and he's not Mexican, but he'll know it's him). Anyways, SO MUCH LOVE YOU GUYS! I love SGA!

3. The episode "Sanctuary" BROKE ME, seriously, IT BROKE ME Heartbroken!Rodney and Jealous!Rodney, and Oblivious!Sheppard and Idiot!Sheppard and the Rodney/Sheppard was so good! *squees* I had that tight, my heart is skipping painful beats feeling in my chest during the whole episodes. Especially when Sheppard was yelling at Rodney. And then I read a fic: Vigil by Huggle and it was just *cries* Fuck! It's the good kind of painful hurt! Please SOMEONE TELL ME YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Anyways, NOT enough fic regarding "Sanctuary", recs anyone?

4. I HAZ NO LOVE LIFE!

I'm not dead!

*giggle*

Seriously, I know I've been pretty absent from Livejournal lately, but it's really difficult to get back in the swing of things. I have a lot less classes in the new semester, but a lot more homework to do (as compensation or something, I don't know) and combined with my encredible laziness, I haven't been around LJ in forever! But I'm back and I'll do my best to stay back this time.

So, the exams went well, I'm pretty happy with the end result. Now I only hope that I won't totally suck with writing papers and if I don't then that means that this semester will go pretty well. If I do suck at writing university papers, then I'm dead. But we'll see.

My love life is still pretty non-existant. I thought I might be interested in his guy, but he has a girlfriend, so I'm determined to ignore whatever I may feel for him, concentrate on being the awesome friend that I can be and just let it go. I am NOT a homewrecker.
There might be this other guy, but I'm not sure yet, so we'll see about that too.

Euhm, I think that's about it...

I was going through some of my old fics lately and I stumbled unto this folder containing a story that I couldn't remember posting. So I went to check and yes, I never posted it and now I remember why, because the ending was stupid and completely unbelievable (and not in the good way) so I decided to forget about it since I couldn't think of anything else. I do now know what to do and it's going to take me very little rewriting, so I might be able to post something relatively soon. Weeh!

Okay, it's taken me over two days to be even moderately caught up with my f-list and there is still tons of stuff I haven't read, never mind actually posting a reponse or saying somehting or anything. *sigh* I need to find a way to not EVER do this AGAIN. I mean, next exam period I need to find a way to get on LJ at least every once in a while, just to check up on things.

Anyways, on a sort of good note, I might be writing again soon, even though it'll probably take me forever to post anything. But still, knowing I'm working on something is better then nothing, right? Even if is Mummy/Avatar and not CSI: Miami, right? Or some of my original work which I'll probably never post here?

IT'S OVER!!!!!

Yes! The Exams are over! Finally!

No more studying, no more getting up early to make sure I study a whole day, no more writing by hand.... GOD WHAT A RELIEF!

I'm going to get SLEEP and I can do LJ and so many other things! But most importantly sleep! That's all I'll be doing this weekend, sleeping! And then, when I'm rested, I can finally catch up on LJ!

Holy Shit but how long as it been?

I'll tell you how long it's been! It's been at least two weeks now since I've been on LJ. TWO WEEKS! I'm seriously deprived.

I just haven't had the time, because Uni study is so much MORE then highschool study. SERIOUSLY. I'm taking a small break tonight only to hit the books tomorrow morning bright and early at 8 o'clock. I only take half hour breaks, which isn't long enough to turn on my computer and do anything useful on LJ. So I fill up my breaks with music and catching up on my reading (like Irving and Sharpe and Torchwood novels).

That at least is doing something for my moods, but still, I wish I had more time for LJ.

Since I've been gone so long, I also have a lot to say, so for the people who can't be bothered or aren't very interested, I'm putting it behind a cut.

Dear f-list

I'm sad to inform you that from now on I won't be able to reach a computer with internetconnection for a whole week *cries*

You see, I'm going on this thing called Collectieve Blok where people from my student association thingy and other people who registered as they wanted, go to a camping building somewhere in Genk and just study eight hours a day with breaks for chat and sports and walks and stuff... I've had plenty of recommendations and I decided to check it out...

So I'll be gone for five days. I'll be back on the 31st and I'll probably be so exhausted I won't feel like going out and I'll just sit behind my computer catching up on my FIVE DAY LONG F-List....
